MY FAMILY IS EVERYTHING TO ME

The theme of the restaurant is "Let my Family Feed Your Family." I want people to come in for breakfast, lunch dinner or pizza, or to enjoy a nice coffee drink. I'm very close with my extended family and our story is tied to Schenectady. My grandparents Albert and Adeline Mangino lived in here decades ago where he was a fire captain on Jay Street, and she started cooking for his friends in the fire company #3. They opened a full-service restaurant at the family camp on Saratoga Lake, "Mangino's Ristorante", which was operated by them and my parents, me and my sisters for over 72 years. This is where I learned to cook from my grandmother, father and mother. I also was lucky to learn from many great cooks who worked for my father at the restaurant.
Today, I am proud to open my own place in Schenectady, back to the roots of both the Mangino and Farina families. Bonnie and I have worked hard to restore the old building, and I hope this new restaurant will make my daughter Mia and my whole family very proud. I continue to be inspired every day by the great support and love from my extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, and their families.
Bonnie and I have done a lot of construction on this building to restore it as a place we hope families will enjoy to eat for many years.
My daughter Mia helped me host a charity event for the SEAT Center, where we got to meet great people and offer samples of our menu. My parents, Pauline and Richard, help me today with the new restaurant and catering events. The picture on the right is me with my sisters Michele and Pamela, and my adorable niece Kylie.
